Take-over
If you are unable to arrive on time, please notify us as soon as possible.
What you need to bring
Storage space aboard a narrowboat is limited. We recommend you bring a sensible selection of informal clothing. Non-slip shoes or deck shoes are essential for your saftey when decks become wet and slippery. As you well know, the English weather is not the most predictable, therefore we recommend that you bring warm clothes, cool clothes and waterproofs to ensure a comfortable cruise.
Diesel and Gas
All included in the price of your holiday.
Bedding, towels and cooking utensils
Freshly laundered bedding and towels are provided on your arrival and each boat is fully equipped with all necessary cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery.
Pets
We love animals and welcome yours onto our boats. But please help us to look after our fleet by keeping your pets off the bedding and upholstery.
Car Parking
We have a parking area at our base. We do not charge but owners leave their vehicles at their own risk.
Bouyancy Aids
We will be happy to provide Bouyancy Aids at your request.
Entertainment
All our boats are equipped with TV, video, radio and CD players. You are welcome to bring your own CDs and DVD's. On board you will find a holiday pack full of ideas on places to visit and things to do.

Mobile Phones and Hair Dryers
Our boats are now equipped with 240 volt power so mobile phone chargers and hair dryers are no problem.
Will I master it?
Whilst the majority of customers have been on a boat before at least 40% haven't. We always take great care with training and all handovers are carried out by trained helmsmen. Remember you are only going at 4mph.
