£100 Booking deposit secures any 2024 boat hire dates.
Balance is due 6 weeks before boat hire start date. Book early to avoid disappointment, demand is high on UK holidays due to staycations. We also do STATIC stays on Dollymixture during the off season.

Cruising possible if condition of the canal is favourable and with suitable winter cruising experience will be £180 per night minimum of 3 nights. Please ask at the time of booking. Subject to cruising experience. |
Booking - Once the dates for your canal boat holiday have been provisionally confirmed a booking email will be sent out. Payment can be made free by electronic bank transfer. We cannot accept Credit/Debit cards unfortunately. Once we have received your cleared funds, we will send you a booking confirmation via email. This email has all your booking information for you to double check as the hire dates and times cannot be changed once confirmed.
Boat hire start/end times (cruising)
- Boat collection and your hire start is 2:00pm on the hire start date. Please arrive on time. Safety induction and boat tuition will last approximately 90-120 minutes with a short run up and down the canal to familiarise yourself with everything. All being well you will be handed the skippers cap to take charge around 3:30-4:00pm, we are happy to stay with you longer if needs be. Boat return and your hire end at 09:30am on the hire end date. Please have the boat empty of your belongings by 09:30am as we need to get the boat checks and cleaning done before our next clients arrive.
Boat hire start/end times (Static) - Boat will be available from 12 on the hire start day and Boat return on your hire end date will be 9.30am with the boat empty of your belongings.
Security bond - All bookings will require a £250 security bond in cash which will be returned on the end date of hire subject to our terms and conditions..
Pets - We welcome domestic pets on board, we ask for a small charge of £20 to contribute towards the additional cleaning costs incurred.

The office is open 9 till 5 Monday to Friday for telephone calls but feel free to leave a voicemail if closed and we will reply when we open again, or email us and we often reply promptly, even when we the office is closed.
